Chinese Page

If you haven’t seen it yet the new Big Bowl menu is divided into several sections. The entrees are divided by cuisine to help our guests and servers navigate the flavors at Big Bowl.

The Chinese page has several new dishes. Ginger Chicken is light, fresh, and reminds me of homemade chicken soup-Chinese style. We use chicken broth made in each Big Bowl kitchen, lots of fresh ginger, herbs, and Chinese rice wine. The sauce is brothy and delicious and the tender chicken melts in your mouth. Don’t overlook this dish – its great.

Shrimp and Tea Smoked Pork is sure to become another Big Bowl favorite. We smoke the pork in house, Chinese style, over black tea leaves and jasmine rice. We add a little of the pork to Shrimp, fresh ginger, homemade broth, and snow peas; the results are spectacular. The sauce is slightly sweet from the shrimp and shaoxing wine with a light smokey flavor and plenty of rich homemade broth. This just might be my favorite addition to the new menu.
