Big Bowl is teaming up with Goose Island on March 15 to celebrate the launch of 312 in cans.

With a name inspired by downtown Chicago’s area code, 312 is an urban wheat beer. Since its bottled release, this award winning ale has rapidly become one of Goose Island’s most popular selections.

As a part of the Fortune Hour series, Big Bowl is proud to support the green initiative behind 312 in cans. Cans are easily recyclable, and the weight of shipping cans is significantly less than bottles, thus lowering emissions. While some beer drinkers prefer bottled, the team at Big Bowl loves the attributes of canned beer, such as fresh flavor and protection from UV exposure.

Come and enjoy complimentary passed appetizers and specially priced 312 cans at $3 and 312 beer cocktails for $5 from our mixology team. Think Honey Shandy (312, lemonade, organic Rain Vodka and 100 % raw honey from Heritage Prairie Farm), the 312-Rita (Cien Anos Tequila, Yuzu and 312), and the 312 Sunrise (312, fresh orange juice, pomegranate).
