New Gluten Free Menu
This week we begin roll out of the new gluten free menu in Chicago. Tuesday is the unveiling at Cedar Street. Wednesday at Ohio and Friday we visit Lincolnshire. Next week, the menu begins in Schaumburg. On behalf of all Big Bowl chefs who have worked on this project, we are very excited to present this menu to our guests. Our goal from the beginning was to introduce more guests to the excitement of Big Bowl and the diverse flavors of Asian cuisine. We encourage all visitors to sample the new dishes on this menu.
The menu is available here but we would like to share some of our favorites with you. Chicken and Broccoli, a lighter version of our popular beef and broccoli, has been an early favorite during our tastings with Big Bowl servers. All natural chicken breast is wok tossed with broccoli, bamboo shoots, and a light ginger-garlic sauce featuring organic gluten free tamari. Orange Chicken gets a quick makeover with seared natural chicken breast and fresh citrus sauce. The flavor is clean and light with the same bright citrus sauce that makes orange chicken one of our most popular menu items. Shrimp and Snow Peas, a classic Chinese combination, combines lots of tender shrimp with julienne snow peas, fresh water chestnuts, and shiitake mushrooms in a delicate ginger garlic wine sauce.
These are just a few of the offerings from the menu. We encourage all our guests to consider this menu when you visit Big Bowl. The dishes are sure to please any diner. We look forward to your feedback.
