For years, we have worked with farmers and farmer’s markets in our restaurant communities. This year, we take it one step further – we bring Big Bowl to the Farm. In Chicago, we are working with Russell Costanza, a grower in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Russell and his family have been farming 500 acres for generations. He is setting aside some space for Big Bowl and growing crops just for us (actually for you). Throughout the spring, summer, and fall we will keep you posted with updates from Russell as well as the list of growers who keep Big Bowl supplied with the freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables. We also work closely with Mick Klug for the best blueberries and apples, Nichols Farms for a variety of produce, and Green Acres Farms for cool Asian vegetables and peppers. We encourage you to visit a farmer’s market in your area. And when you do, tell them Big Bowl sent you!
