A salve for Minnesota shoppers on Black Friday

Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning relief from Black Friday. We've got a complimentary dessert just for them.

The Big Bowls in Minnesota have a deal on Black Friday, too, but it's more about giving our guests a salve for a lighter wallet and the fatigue that accompanies shopping in record number crowds.

A complimentary dessert of your choice will be offered on all take out orders that include two entrees.

Dessert for us can fix just about anything when it's coconut tapioca pudding, mango cheesecake, honey apple crisp , chocolate peanut butter pie or any other sweet choice on the menu.

Just how manic will Black Friday be this year? According to the National Retail Federation, an estimated 152 million people are expected to hit the stores - a 10 percent increase from last year. Some pundits predict that Cyber Monday will take a bite out of those numbers since gone are the days when bargains could only be found at brick-and-mortar stores.
