Top Chef Just Dessert

I have to admit I’m a Top Chef junkie.  Never missing a show, I have watched it since it started eight years ago.  This week, Bravo TV begins a new spin off of the popular (Emmy Award Winner) series called Top Chef Just Desserts on  Wednesday, at 10 PM central time. 

Big Bowl was contacted by Open Table several weeks ago with an offer to participate in a Top Chef promotion.*  Being a fan of both Top Chef and Open Table, I lobbied on behalf of Top Chef for Big Bowl to participate.  Here is the deal:  if you book your reservation on opentable.com for Wednesday, September 15, dessert is on us.*  Participating guests will be treated to our winning dessert; Homemade Ginger Cake with Ginger Pomegranate Glaze.  Fresh whipped cream and orange slices make our ginger cake a top seller and my favorite dessert.

Open Table, the online reservation service, is easy to use and absolutely free to the guest.  All you need is an email address for access to restaurants and reviews across the country.  Personally, I use it all the time.  I like reading reviews, including Big Bowls, of restaurants I am thinking about visiting.  Speedy and easy to navigate, I accumulate redeemable points when I book a reservation and dine at a restaurant. 

This week is the season finale in Singapore for Top Chef.  Part 1 was really good with some of the best food I have seen on a Top Chef episode.  The show airs at 9 PM central time.  Top Chef Just Dessert follows at 10 PM central time.  But first, reserve your table on opentable.com and come in dinner with your complimentary dessert.*
